In 2021, Rick & Lewis were walking back to the yards from filling up their bottles for the 3rd time. Rick said “oi mate I’d sweat in a freezer, and I’ve paid a days wage for a bloody water bottle the size of a tea cup! Let’s make one for the hardworking Aussies that need more water than the yanks do” Lewis responded “Righto lets do it then ay, lets make one for you, me and the rest of the legendary blue collar Aussies out there with the same problem.”
It was born from a genuine passion for Aussie conditions and a desire to offer the ultimate hydration solution at a more affordable price. Yowy’s two founders Rick Morrison & Lewis Jarden decided to change the way Aussies drank. These two larrikins, saw a need for rugged, reliable drinkware that could withstand the demands of the outdoors & hold more water, all without breaking the bank.
