The men here at Mates Crates are just your average blokes. They love good food, good drink, and quality merchandise. The wives here at Mates Crates were tired of wasting money on frivolous gifts that just didn’t stand the test of time. Besides, if a man wants something, doesn’t he usually just buy it himself? So, we decided it was time to create a gift with a twist that could be enjoyed by any of our mates for any occasion. 

This is when we picked the brains of our husbands to gain access to the truest desires of their hearts, and to answer our burning question …

WHAT DO our mates ACTUALLY WANT?

Food? Yes, we all know that. Drink? That’s a given. A fun experience? -THE MISSING LINK!- But – how to deliver this? If we were to package these things all together, how can we step it up a notch and go from bland to legendary?

We said, “What about a customisable crate?” They said, “How about sealing it shut and cracking it open with a pry bar?”
