After many years of trying different can storage options to successfully carry beer and soft drink cans in car and caravan fridges, and to prevent the exploding can, or the one that falls on the floor when you open the fridge door, the CAN BUDDY® was born.

On a road trip to Darwin in August 2020, to see our son Michael, we dreamt up the CAN BUDDY® concept during the 3500 km trip. To have 6 tubes that the cans fit in firmly, and cannot move or roll around the fridge.

We 3D printed many prototypes and were extremely happy with the product, but could not produce enough. To 3D print one CAN BUDDY® took 14 hours.

We decided to look into Injection Moulding. one CAN BUDDY® can be produced every 45 seconds.

We wanted the tooling and the product to be 100 % MADE IN AUSTRALIA. While this cost a lot more than sourcing from overseas, we are very proud to have a truly Australian Made product, every step of the way.
