Back in 20-diggity, Kyle went to Brian’s house with some beers and an idea. A highly experienced and knowledgeable home brewer with countless Alice Springs brews under his belt, Brian’s advice was simple: Don’t do it! There were a number of hurdles to overcome and provided the lengthy list of reasons it would be hard to do and probably why nobody had done it before. In 2018 Alice Springs Brewing Co was born! Starting off with a 50L pilot brewery and then adding a 500L brewing system a couple of months later. Then, as the say in Alice Springs, it went boonta… Today Alice Springs Brewing Co is continuing its rapid growth and expansion. In 2020 Alice Springs Brewing Co recruited new Head Brewer Jum Ryan (ex Little Creatures) who now oversees the day-to-day brewing operations. Alongside its taphouse operation, it also distributes to the whole of the Northern Territory and has plans to further expand into other states and territories in 2022.
